Italy is a European country, located in the south of the continent, occupying almost the totality of the Italic Peninsula, more the islands of the Sardinia and Sicily. The capital of Italy is Rome, that is also the biggest city of the country. It understands the valley of the river Dust, the Italic Peninsula and the two bigger islands in the Mediterranean sea, Sicily and the Sardinia. The country only includes 92% of the Italian physical region, delimited conventionally for the alpine watershed; beyond enclaves above-mentioned, the following territories do not belong to the country: the Principality of Mônaco, Nice with Fight and Tent, some stripes of the next Alps to the French border (Monginevro, Moncenisio and Piccolo San Bernardo), the Switzerland of Italian language (Tessino Canton and some valleys of Grigioni), the peninsula of the Ístria and one has left of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the island of the Córsega and the archipelago of Malta.
